The goal of CORAL San José is to improve academic achievement in an after-school setting. Serving five schools throughout San José, CORAL will provide high quality literacy support and project-based learning activities linked to classroom curricula and California State Standards. CORAL seeks to strengthen children’s foundation of basic skills, while providing them with a rich and high quality literacy and enrichment curriculum.
Case Manager

Status: 2 positions @ 30 hours per week (part time)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
THIS IS A 30 HOUR PER WEEK POSITION.
• Provide outreach to court dependent Relative and Non-Relative Extended Family Members caregivers regarding programs and services available.
• As appropriate, provide case management services to DFCS (Department of Family and Children Services) clients such as the following: Needs assessment, goal setting, support during the family’s journey through the placement process and rigorous detailed documentation and file management.
